2. Enjoy Summer Sounds

Throughout the summer, the Gig Harbor Summer Sounds concert series offers free outdoor concerts every Tuesday night at Skansie Brothers Park. From blues to jazz to rock, there is something for everyone to enjoy. 3. Take a Walking Tour

After a three-year hiatus, the Downtown Waterfront Alliance, in partnership with Harbor WildWatch and the Harbor History Museum are proud to offer these beloved tours to residents and visitors once again! The season will run for 15 weeks, starting on Saturday June 10th, and ending on Wednesday, August 30th. There will be two tours available each week; a Skiffs to Spirits tour on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm and a kid-friendly Wonders of the Waterfront tour from 10am-12pm every Saturday. Explore the charming downtown area and learn about the fishing industry, indigenous roots, and unique marine life while discovering the hidden gems of the town. 4. Rent a Kayak, Paddle Board or Charter a Boat

For those who love water sports, Gig Harbor offers kayak and paddle board rentals. Explore the harbor's stunning coastline, watch seals and other marine life, and discover the nearby islands. Other scenic views include Donkey Creek Park, Ancich Park, Skansie Brothers Park, Maritime Pier and the Old Ferry Landing (keep going past the Tides until you reach the end of the road).
