“Coloring the History of Gig Harbor" is a children's book featuring engaging illustrations and informative text, highlighting important events, landmarks, and figures from the city's past and present.
The book promotes a greater appreciation of Gig Harbor's history and cultural heritage among young residents. It encourages children to engage with the city's history, develop an interest in learning, and increase youth access to art.
Thanks to funding from local grants, the Alliance plans to print 5,000 free copies of the coloring book for distribution throughout the community during Summer 2023. You can also download a digital copy below.

A huge thank you to the local artists who drew the images in the book and to our sponsors who made this effort possible.
