Looking for another way to enjoy waterfront dining?

Fit for chowder lovers of all ages, Chowderfest is a celebration of the culinary expertise of our waterfront business district and a great excuse to get out and explore businesses and natural attractions in the historic area. Gig Harbor waterfront restaurants, tasting rooms, wine bars and retail shops will come together for a day full of delicious food, drink and fun!
A Story So Good, It’s Bubbling Over! This year, you aren't just eating chowder—you’re writing the legend! Our new Chowder Lore Mad Libs game takes you on a quest through the waterfront. Find the secret words hidden at participating shops to finish your story. It’s a "shrimply" delightful way for kids and adults to discover Gig Harbor lore, local secrets, and a few "punny" surprises. Turn in your completed tale for a chance to win a Waterfront Grand Prize!
PLUS: Every attendee will receive a commemorative deck of unique Chowder, Harbor & Fun Fact Trivia Cards at check-in (while supplies last!). It’s a pocket-sized collection of historic facts, puns, and local lore that make our harbor legendary.
